Well Black Friday has been and gone meaning Dad is yet another year older (and wiser I’m sure)! We just had a very casual do at Mum and Dad’s with cake and ice cream a plenty. Laura made a delicious vanilla cake along with some very tasty fudge. I think this might become a requested peace offering from time to time.
Anywho here are the images from the night. I tried for a different style using the 50mm 1.8 the entire night. For a cheap lens it does a really impressive job! If only the 40D had less noise at ISO800.

On Saturday, November 5, 1955… wait a minute wrong story.
Well we all took ourself round to Laura & Phil’s rental property for an evening of fine dining, fine wine and some less fine entertainment . The menu consisted of roast lamb & chicken, followed by apple and custard crumble for dessert with ice cream and more custard. (All mouthwatering!)
Below we have some photographic evidence of the night in question. Please leave bad comments to yourselves
